Aluminium is a pure metal, meaning that it is a non-ferrous metal. Non-ferrous metals are often flexible, do not contain iron, and are resistant to corrosion and rust. 

Since non-ferrous metals do not lose their chemical properties during the recycling process, you can recycle them repeatedly. 

That means the different types of scrap aluminium can be re-recycled.
